Classes hosted in the Prototyping Studio have access to all the equipment they have been trained on. This facilitates a hands-on-making environment, that supports both STEM-related courses and beyond.
Integrate The Hatchery into your credit-bearing course by completing the Faculty Collaboration Form linked below.
Faculty asking students to using the tools in the Hatchery spaces for their courses can submit their list of students which will allow them to sign up for trainings more than a week in advance.

In 2023, The Hatchery created its outreach team, The CoLab, to bring fun, engaging, and customizable events to the Boston College community. As of 2024, The Hatchery has facilitated events with over 40 clubs and organizations on BC’s campus – and our list is always growing!
